BSD’s Hannah Arensen sets off for Uganda

The BSD team bids farewell to Hannah, who is moving to Uganda to share her expertise and wonderful community-building skills with the folks at Engineering Ministries International. She will be one of the first landscape architectural designers to work in the region, so although we’re sad to lose her, we’re excited that she’ll be broadening the reach of the profession overseas.

This isn’t Hannah’s first overseas venture; she played a key role in BSD’s win at Japan’s Garden World Cup design competition and in the design for the new community hub in Letchmore Heath, England.

We’re planning a series of “reports from the field” from Hannah and her husband, Bruce, so please feel free to stay tuned to hear more about their adventures!

If you’re interested in learning more about Hannah’s work with EMI, we absolutely encourage you to check out her newsletter here.
