Katelyn Crews

Katie earned her Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from American University in 2023. Following this, she worked as a Senior Program Assistant for the Earth Sciences and Resources program area at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. She coordinated workshops and meetings of experts in California, Alaska, Colorado, and DC! She worked on several important projects concerning biodiversity, Earth data, and climate change.

While studying in college, she had an internship at Earth Day Network. There, she worked on the website to increase public awareness on climate change and engage local communities in events such as clean ups, nature walks, and more.
