Katelyn Crews

Katie earned her Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from American University in 2023. Following this, she worked as a Senior Program Assistant for the Earth Sciences and Resources program area at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. She coordinated workshops and meetings of experts in California, Alaska, Colorado, and DC! She worked on several important projects concerning biodiversity, Earth data, and climate change.

While studying in college, she had an internship at Earth Day Network, where she worked on their website to increase public awareness about climate change and engage local communities in events such as clean ups, nature walks, and more.

Katie is passionate about sustainability to preserve our air, water, wildlife, and infrastructure for generations to come.
