Eli Sheahen

Eli joined BSD in 2025 while studying architecture, design, and sustainability at the George Washington University Corcoran School of the Arts & Design. His interests center on placemaking and the belief that meaningful design emerges from a deep understanding of place. Through his academic work, he has explored topics ranging from case studies of environmental inequity and applied bioregionalism to human-centered design practice and material experimentation.

At BSD, Eli contributes to both design production and initiatives that improve communication, efficiency, and participatory measures throughout the design process. He is grateful to be part of a team dedicated to creating beautiful, healthy, and resilient spaces and communities, and he continues to learn from BSD's interdisciplinary approach to design.
