Sharon Bradley, RLA (CLARB: MD, VA), ASLA

Sharon began her career in 1984 and built a strong foundation at Keyes Condon Florance Architects and Oehme van Sweden & Associates. She founded Bradley Site Design in 1994 to focus on projects that have a positive impact in urban neighborhoods. She has been designing communities, prominent public spaces and institutions of cultural and historic significance in metropolitan Washington, DC for 30 years. She is committed to creating sustainable landscapes that seamlessly mesh sound engineering with inspiring designs to give character and vitality to urban spaces.

Actively involved in every phase of BSD projects, Sharon has developed a unique business model that addresses social, economic and environmental issues  for a more comprehensive approach to design. She frequently delivers presentations on this topic to professional and community groups and is an adept public speaker. She is also an enthusiastic participant in volunteer and pro bono efforts that benefit urban communities.

Sharon lives in Greenbelt and enjoys reading, running, NY Times Crosswords and spending time with her family.

Design and Construction Project Manager

Bel’s career has spanned both the private and public sector with over ten years of experience. With EDAW I AECOM she worked on high-profile projects all over the world, including US Embassy projects in Nigeria, Paraguay and Mauritania, the Capital Riverfront Urban Framework Project in Washington, DC, and numerous educational and cultural facilities in DC and abroad. She has superb graphics skills, providing polished presentation renderings in various media. She is also experienced in sustainable site design at all scales, from regional Master Planning and Smart Growth Urban Design to individual site features. Bel is consistently involved in professional, alumni and community activities and has served on ASLA’s Executive Committee, Purdue’s Alumni Board and other groups.

Outside the office, Bel is often found spending time with her newly expanded family and resuming triathlon training.

Danielle Sette
Landscape Architecture Designer

Danielle brings advanced technical skills and excellent research abilities to the BSD team. Extremely adept in document production, she is also very strong in the landscape architectural foundation skills: grading, horticulture, construction detailing, graphics and design theory.

Danielle graduated with honors from the rigorous, nationally ranked Penn State program, and won numerous design awards during her academic career. She also studied abroad in New Zealand, where she gained knowledge in international and post-natural disaster design. Soon after graduation, Danielle joined the BSD team. In addition to excelling in the studio, she has assumed the role of social media director.

Outside of the office, Danielle enjoys hiking, fishing, growing vegetables and spending time with her family and dog, Calvin. 




Yoshihiko 'Yoshi' Kubota, ASLA
Landscape Architecture Designer

Yoshi comes from a diverse background through which he learned to appreciate the need for good design in urban neighborhoods. Originally from Japan, he has also spent time living and learning in the US and Australia where his work and research ranged in scope from ecotourism, local and international environmental NGOs, and global supply chain management. During his time at the University of Michigan, where he received his MLA (2016); he served as a graduate student instructor in ecological planting design.  Yoshi worked at the university’s botanical gardens and at an engineering firm while completing his degree.

Yoshi enjoys exploring the outdoors both in cities and in nature, watching baseball, and the occasional wood carving.

Angela Uperti-Hite
Office / Human Resources Manager

Angela has been managing the day-to-day operation of small/medium sized business entities for over 15 years. Her excellent people skills make her extremely adept at managing the Human Resources function, where she exhibits command of a broad array of generalist skills.  In addition, her highly motivated and detail-oriented approach enables her to independently manage a wide range of administrative functions at BSD including office management, vendor relationship management, basic accounting and legal compliance. 

When away from the office, Angela is an accomplished classical flutist who actively performs throughout the Washington, DC area at such venues as The Kennedy Center and Washington National Cathedral.  She is also co-founder of The Dominion Symphony Orchestra, a fully professional ensemble that performs throughout the northern Virginia area.

Angela resides in Annandale, Virginia with her husband, son, and dogs Ozzie and Peaches.  She enjoys baking, gardening and rooting for the Washington Nationals.
